There are several motorways to choose from to reach Spielberg and the surrounding towns, depending on the direction you are coming from. But don't forget to get a vignette. You can buy one at a petrol station or online, in advance, at asfinag.at. Don't forget your vignette even if you're travelling on a motorbike.

From Vienna

From Vienna, take the A2 motorway, then take the S6 motorway in the direction of Leoben. Once you arrive at Knoten St. Michael, take the S36 towards the Red Bull Ring.

From Graz

From Graz, take the A9 motorway in the direction of Salzburg, and continue along the A9 through the Gleinalmtunnel. When you arrive at Knoten St. Michael, take the S36 towards the Red Bull Ring.

From Salzburg

From Salzburg, take the A10 motorway. Exit at St. Michele/Lungau on the B9, and then follow the S36 towards the Red Bull Ring.

From Upper Austria

From Upper Austria, join the A9 motorway in the direction of Slovenia. When you arrive in Knoten. St. Michele, follow the S36 road to the Red Bull Ring. Take the B317 via Neumarkter to Judenburg and continue to the Red Bull Ring.

From western Austria

From western Austria, take the B320 to Liezen, then continue to the B113 to Trieben. From there, you join the A9 motorway in the direction of Slovenia. Once you are in Knoten St. Michele, follow the S36 road towards the Red Bull Ring.
